Originally trained in graphic design and illustration at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I’ve always been compelled to make art in some form or another. I’m endlessly inspired by this crazy, complex, terrifying, profoundly beautiful thing that is the human experience. I want my art to offer new perspectives on the nature of life, reality, and our place in the universe, and ultimately to get people thinking about things in a way they might not have before.
Almost all of my paintings are designed on the computer first. I like the freedom of being able to adjust each individual element on its own layer in order to get everything just right before I put brush to canvas.
